yeah it’s tough concentrating and to be honest it’s getting harder each day while there is no movement on my file.

what about you?
I get it, my classes are in Jan and I am stressing out already.
No, my file is still waiting for any update. I am in SDS though, but we are seeing some movements in SDS who applied in the same month as mine. So lets see when we will get out of this hell hole

I’m literally developing a dual personality disorder because of all this. One moment I’m extremely happy to see files move, on the other extreme I’m anxious to not see any activity on my file. Plus the added stress from online classes.
I agree, this whole waiting thing while handling with the online classes is so fucked up. What's worse is I have term test next week lol and I gotta keep my shit together for that

Wish you good luck for your test. Just forget about this whole thing for a moment and focus on studies. Visa is a variable but term grades are going to be a constant :) (y)

my friend will apply to study permit next week. She paid her college fee and got approval letter already.
Program starts on January 2022 so there's 3 months ahead. Is it enough time ? (non sds)

Nobody can tell if its enough time. Best thing to do is apply and see. I suggest SDS for the simple understanding that it might be fast, might be.

Study permits: In Canada (initial and extension)
Last updated: September 21, 2021
We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between
July 4 and 10, 2021 ?
If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it.

But this is for 'in-canada' apps. I checked for outside Canada its now 12 weeks, increased by 1 week.

Hey,
I have applied for Jan 2022 intake

Medical done - 7th August
Visa applied -12th August
BIL-13th August

Biometric-7th September ( updated on same date)

Medical updated-16th September

Eligibility review started on 16th September
Also under documents - no further documents needed

Can someone provide approximately how much time I will have to wait?
