I had applied for EE - FSW outland from India in April 2020 and in Sept, 2020 I got RPRF request. So what I gather is that I am just waiting for PPR.
My question is that I am planning to go to Canada on a visitor visa as I have a valid visitors' visa and contact IRCC saying that I am onshore and hopefully they will fast-track my application. Has anybody done this? Otherwise I will go to Canada for no real reason!

Response is appreciated.
Following this post closely..

What movement, did the message appear, medica
Yea it is a good idea if you don’t care about the cost. Even though am inland , I did remedicals without being asked and submitted and saw movement after that

Hello,
Thx for information. Did your medical exam status change afterwards and how long after submitting through web form did it reflect.

Job Offer........
Yes
I lost hopes, demanded withdrawing my FSW-Inland to switch to a CEC-Inland, all my CEC friends received their PR card within anything from 9 months to 4 months.
I also applied under CEC in august 2021 after I applied under FSW Inland in April 2020. I didn’t withdraw my FSW application so it’ll be like a race between the 2!
i spoke to an I,migration lawyer and they suggested keeping both application in and not to withdraw one

Just wanted to let you know that I finally got the email with the letter saying "your application is approved". Now getting ready to get the COPR.
I am CEC inland with dependent (wife) outside Canada. For some reason, they sent us a medical request for her as soon as we bought her plane tickets (she has a tourism visa). Not sure if that was just a coincidence. Our file had been abandoned for more than a year before that.

It's been so long, I honestly don't see the need to share a timeline. With the covid restrictions lifted it will be a different world.

Today I also requested my passport's renewal, I really hope they use my new passport for the PR because my old one expires in 10 months, and it seems the PR can only be valid as long as your passport is, and there's no way to ask for a PR extension.

I am so exhausted I don't even feel happy at this point. Maybe glad my life can finally move on, yes, a feeling of life finally moving again. Went to eat some sushi, might get a beer on the weekend. F*cking immigration guys stole my soul I guess. I just want to meet my wife again and forget this whole thing.

@legalfalcon - I have received my GCMS recently and noticed the below comment, please can you advise what it implies:

"Reassessment has been granted and a new medical certificate with validity of 12 months has been issued in GCMS. Should the applicant not land before the expiry of the medical, a new IME will be required. Please pick up this IME again in order to update the medical validity of the application." The visa office mentioned this time was New Delhi

AOR - April 2020
Medical expired in March 2021
Primary Visa office Ottawa
COR - UAE

So what do you think about 2020 applications especially FSW-O? When will they pay any heed to our cases?
Are you FSW/CEC Inland/Outland?
What's your latest status?
I can see movement in 2020 applicants only for last two weeks. Check these two threads for the latest trends.
