Not at the moment.. you have to get a Canadian VOIP or SIP phone and dial from that…

This whole process is just getting too frustrating every single day. Did they not think that we are also in a "VULNERABLE" position. The emotional attack is just getting worse every single moment you thought of your application sitting somewhere under a desk or in a filing cabinet without being noticed at all. When for us, those documents lies our family's future. Oh God, hear us, have mercy on us!

I can feel you pain I am also going through same situation I am December 2019 applicant but still waiting for approval .my whole familys future is at stake.dont know wat to do

It depends. Last December, their background check on me took one day only. I already have approved work permits before under the old caregiver program (which was not yet expired). So I guess, if you’re still have a current unexpired work permit, background check should be faster. I don’t know the reason why it’s taking them so long to do a background check on me this time. I honestly want to help them on computer, and point it out that “see, I’m ELIGIBLE because my caregiver work permit is still valid!!!”

BG Check varies from 1 day to 3 months... verifying previous work experience, searching online like LinkedIn, criminal record searches and the list goes on...

-i got my AOR jan 2020
- May 2021 they asked for updated req
-June 2021 they got info from my employer
- Sep 20 2021 approved no exp inside canada

What do you think about “Sep.20 approved” on the post?
Does it approve for HSW work permit? Almost same timeline with me but I’ve been any updated since May2021 IMM 5983?(not sure number) update.

Sept 20, means the Work permit application is approved and the applicant received it..
