There is no doubt in anyone's mind that FSW will resume, but the question is when and in what form?

All we can do is continue to hope that once the elections are done, they'll change things up a little. There's no logical reason to exclude FSW but allow tourists and IECs to come in.

This year has been a disaster for FSWs. Now, not only the pool is overflowing, the scores are over the roof as well. Guys with less than 468 have already started marking alternate plans. I am sure FSW will resume, but if they are waiting for the changes to implement first, then it might be that till March or April they will start doing the draws again.

There are few streams, engg is one of them, they select some top candidates. Initially all you have to do is to get a Nomination either from an Australian Citizen or PR (Better from your own field) or there are few organizations that may nominate you e.g. in my case Engineers Australia can do the nomination. After submitting EOI they invite you to apply.

Canada will ban India again but this time for just being brown. They have run out of excuses and can't use covid as an excuse now. This time they will be honest about their reasons.

So you want to hear the truth? Don't play the race card for that.

Literally everyone knows that it is easier to buy a fake covid-rest result in India than buying bread. People traveled to Canada with those fake test results. Therefore Canada had to ban the entire country. Either Indian government will interfere and stop those criminals from issuing&buying fake documents, or eventually Canada will decide accepting only certain instutions' covid test results from India, and that's going to be costly for the honest majority.

There were 42.556 people from FSW-O program waiting on 21.02.2021. No newever official data is available.

Also as an additional information the number of all express entry applicants (outland) waiting at that time was 65.735. (including the FSW-O ones above)
All non-express entry economic class (outland) applicants were 87.329
All economic class (both express entry + non-express entry) were 153.073
