Maybe there is a silver lining in all of this. Maybe we will grow to appreciate the PR more and not take it for granted once we are in Canada. This will motivate us and push us to get far ahead of everyone else who did not have to struggle to get there.

I think there was a small bit of emotions in it is well. Everyone are bashing IRCC, consultants, lawyers, government. People will call me crazy but still I am hopping that the draws will resume. It is a matter of time in my personal opinion. I am not speculating more about it.
Now people are crying on fb groups that fSW is dead, they will scrap that program, it will be exactly the same as in 2012 etc. etc. I do not have time to argue about it. :)
I have never involved myself in FSW talk. My guess is that after they clear some good amount of FSW backlog, they may do a FSW draw. I don't think backlog will be cleared my end of this year. I am going to wait till october to be convinced they are working on backlog seriously and go from there.

I respect your optimism but it does seem like fsw is dead :(

Lets see, we are still in the middle of September. Also bear in mind that it was still only PNP yesterday, the schedule of the draws is change and CEC was really small. I doubt there is that many people with scores 450> win CEC. I guess the majority of them will be up to 450

When you give a statement like that you should back it up with some evidence :) They are still accepting the applications etc, they would not do that for the whole year if they would decide to scrap the FSW. Just wait guys :) I know it is difficult and very very though.

No one should be tagged ‘crazy’ for being hopeful. People are entitled to express their optimism or pessimism as we all visualize things very differently. IRCC’s situation looks hopeless tbh but I still have whole of October to see if things start to change.

No evidence but just sad

It is a waiting game, I was saying this from the beginning however after we had sooo many good changes, I think everyone were certain that FSW will actually happen now, today, yesterday hahaha :D it was just 2000 CEC so lets see what will happen next :)

I don't get why people are taking the reduced CEC draw sizes as positive. It's common knowledge at this point that they've diverted resources to process refugee apps. CEC draw sizes have nothing to do with express entry.

Oh I forgot :) ;)

@dxdroid I'm just trolling you haha. Glad you're overwhelmingly positive (even if I find it a bit distasteful) but hey I'm sure the majority here doesn't like me, and we're allowed to disagree

Exactly, we still have time this year :) For me it is only the beginning, I know how bad people do feel waiting after ITA for nearly 2 years. I would rather have an ITA and just waiting for it than waiting for the ITA :)

Except that CEC draw sizes started dropping from late July when the Afghan situation hadn’t taken a completely different turn
