Hello All,

mad I have never applied for Canadian visa so this is my first attempt via a consultant.

so my question is that what is the timeline going on currently for the biometrics and its appointments?
My consultant will apply for the study visa on my behalf in the upcoming week and I would also be required to give biometric. So what is the process and timelines and when sooner can I get the appointment ?

Hi, you need to search for a VFS centre in your city and book an appointment. You can book it before filing your visa also, coz per current trends, dates are not easily available. You won't have to pay at this time coz charges for this will be combined and paid at the time of visa application. Select a suitable date and time slot. Within 24 hrs of applying visa, you will get biometrics collection letter in your GCkey account, on which 30 days timeline will be mentioned. You need to take printout of this letter, appointment letter (which you will get at the time of booking appointment) and VFS consent form (your agent will provide this). Also take your passport along when u go to give biometrics.
