I've ordered new notes and am waiting to receive them. Which section would I find the extension dates in, if applicable?

It may also depend on our individual medical status. We get assigned a risk category with a code. I am M1 (lowest risk).

I got my GCMS notes today, after 3 months.

Firstly, I was asked for an additional submission of my ECA from PEBC in January, as according to my NOC WES is not applicable and I submitted WES ECA in initial submission. I managed to submit the new ECA before the deadline of 25th Feb 2021.

Now the notes (screenshot attached) shows following:
1. PEBC report received on 24/02/2021
2. Officer review dated 06/05/2021 shows "FOSS/GCMS NAI PEBC ECA pending".



I am not able to understand these comments. Does it mean PEBC evaluation report verification by them is pending or is the report submission pending according to them?

It is verification of report that is pending.

@legalfalcon i got my copr, just want to know can i apply new sin no with copr or do i have to wait for pr card? The other thing is i was on closed work permit with the employer since i got the pr can i quit the job now ?

I received an information request from IRCC about job duties for my first 3 jobs ( combined 5 years ). For my fourth job ( current one, 2.5 years ), there is no enquiry. The letter contained all the required details.
  1. Your letter of employment failed to provide a job description and a salary
  2. Please provide a letter of employment with a detailed job description and proof of salary
I had provided on employer letter head the details for all 3 jobs but they did not contain job duties. I have been given 7 days to furnish this information. Now, I may be able to get the details for my 3 job, but the first two in this short duration ( if I can get through to HR at all ) would be difficult.

What is the impact on my application if I am not able to provide the job details. The current details contain job offer, start date, end date and pay stubs separately.

How should I go about navigating this situation ? @legalfalcon would appreciate any inputs from you.

You do not have to wait for PR card, the COPR will suffice.

You can ask IRCC for an extension. If you do not provide the document or request an extension your application will be refused.

As per IRCC:

a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
  • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
  • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits

@legalfalcon How does one go about seeking an extension ?

I have all the details ( salary slips, start date etc.. ) except the job responsibility in my currently uploaded experience letter.

If I am able to get 1-2 employers to get me a new letter ( with the job duties, since it is the only part that is not there in my current documents) but not all 3, does that mean some of my points will get deducted or will my entire application be rejected ?

My 4 job was < 3 years at the time of ITA and is ~ 3.5 years now.

I got my COPR on Monday. The very next day, I got my new SIN and my health card. Just print the COPR and go to their office or you can apply online if you prefer.

It seems like you already had a letter on the company letter head. If I were you, I would do the following:
- use the previous letter that you received from your employer and insert the job description (if it is a PDF, convert it in a word document)
- send both the original and the updated one back to HR and explain to them that you only added the job duties on the updated letter.
- ask them to verify it, sign it and send the one that you need back to you
- tell them that IRCC has been rejecting applications that did not have such information so it is a blessing if you were asked for it.
- send the same email to your former boss and 3 different people in HR

You have to do whatever it takes to try to get the information asked. If you didn't get all of them, show IRCC the communication you will have with your former employer asking 4 that info.
