Sorry if already replied.. and I know there's less chance of approval as I'm PR.

I'm about to submit my spouse's outland PR sponsorship application. Can anyone please help with the following questions?

1. Can I apply for TRV based on family reunion before I submit that file or should I do that after submitting the file or after I get AOR ?
2. She's a freelancer so what should I do to show strong ties to the native nation ?
3. If I get any reply for TRV application - do I have to inform IRCC for spousal application ?
4. I have her PCC so will she required to do PCC again for TRV ?
5. I have paid for her biometrics already for spousal application so what should I do for TRV? and which one will come first?
6. For medical, is it required to do upfront for TRV? Also, for spousal, it will be after I get update from IRCC - is that right ?
7. Which are the required docs and proofs for applying for TRV

Thanks in advance for the reply.

TRV for a spouse isn’t guaranteed. If a spouse has a TRV they were able to travel to Canada. Unfortunately many misinterpreted the announcement and assumed all spouses would be able to come to Canada. It’s up to you to decide whether you want to apply for TRV first. Normally I would suggest applying for sponsorship ASAP but if you apply for TRV and are granted the TRV your spouse can arrive in Canada and apply for inland sponsorship. If your spouse gets denied the TRV then you outland application will have been delayed a few months. When it comes to strong ties a job, property and dependent family members are the best proof. You can use all documents for TRV and current sponsorship. You will get a request for medical if required for the TRV.

Thank you for reply.

I'm applying for her PR as outland. I will apply for TRV after that. Just want to take a chance.

Also, in the worst case scenario, if TRV gets rejected while outland file is in process, do I have to submit anything to IRCC for sponsorship file ?

No consequence on sponsorship if denied TRV if applied for as a spouse of a PR.

Thank you.

There was option like Other - COVID-19 in the application form but now, it's not there. But IRCC website still has this information. What should I do now ?

Seems like they are updating the website now that travel for vaccinated people is possible with a valid. Pick the best option for your situation,

Sure.

I have another query and this is related to her spousal Pr application.

What can be done if there's a difference between mother's name in birth certificate and passport ? That's the case with my spouse. I'm about to submit her spousal pr application..

I have filled all the forms and all the docs has same name as passport
But there's different name in birth certificate
