Different NOC than experienced

Hello!
I studied psychology (B.A.) and clinical psychology (MSc.) but I am working as a research assistant now at a university in the department of psychology. I have experience as psychologist but just for a year. Most of my experience is as a research assistant. Is it possible to apply EE as a psychologist? Because I want to work as a psychologist if I arrive to Canada. Any response would be appreciated. Thank you!

You can immigrate through EE. You can’t work as a psychologist in Canada except maybe Saskatchewan unless you have a PhD and are licensed to practice.

The NOC you use in your EE application must be a NOC where you have at least one year of continuous work experience.

The NOC you use in your EE application has nothing to do with what profession you chose to work in once you get to Canada.
