I heard they are selling ITAs for FSW on the dark web for 3 BTC/ITA. Is it true?

The chances of landing outland applicants this year is pretty thin. Consider this: some people have to resign from their work then plan their relocation. This might take time as many institutions would want at least a month notice before you leave their organisation. Imagine someone getting PPR in September, give notice same September but gotta wait till October to leave the work. Then they start to plan their trips.

Also, we have to consider that the VAC that will stamp visa and issue COPR might not be quick with it. Many people are waiting for up to 3months to get their visa stamps and COPR after submission. A lot of factors seems to be working against outlanders landing in Canada this year.

Best/Safest bet would be first quarter of 2022, for those that are close to the finish line.

Solid points made. Although, I believe that once one is issued a valid COPR, that person automatically counts as a ‘landed immigrant’ regardless of when they decide to travel. I believe that’s what IRCC looks at when they make a computation of how many PRs they’ve welcomed in a year. Thoughts?

Are the 3 months notice period the same everywhere? I know it's common in India. In the US, I can resign today and walkway the same day. No notice period.

Nah, it will count as 'landed' after you've actually landed in Canada. Only CEC applicants have the exemption.

JT would be the worst for us as we can see. He wants more refugees (low-skill) and less high-skilled immigrants. JT is clearly against skilled immigration.

I disagree with the timeline for receiving passport. Most people who I’ve seen that received PPR have been receiving the passport back in around a month. It’s quite doable. A couple in my WhatsApp group moved to Canada 2 months after they received PPR. I still believe it’s possible to land in Canada this year if PPR comes at most mid October. If they stall past this, then they didn’t really want people to land this year.
