Did she had the AOR before that or the application was simply just returned to your wife? did they provide any explanation to why they couldn't confirm the time?
She did not get AOR
They just simply returned the application.
We resubmitted again with an explanation letter and passport stamps when she was a visitor and they accepted it and issued AOR.

Hi, I actually have the same question. I have many UAE stamps on my passport and if you notice the whole stamp is in Arabic but there are 2 english words "UAE" and "Entry/Exit". I was thinking maybe this is sufficient but I could be wrong.
Note- I am yet to apply and am just getting ready. So if there are other applicants that have visited or lived in the UAE before, appreciate your response to this. Thank you
My wife have many UAE stamps and she submitted her passport copies and it was accepted.
The UAE stamp has english date and english word (entry/exit) and the word UAE

Hi all,

I have received the official test-invitation email. Within that email however, they are also requesting all pages of my passport( I can't remember if I have included all the pages or only the pages that had the stamps). This is pretty straight forward. That being said they have included the following line: "Passport(s) and travel document(s) stamps that are not in English or French must also be translated."

Did you guys do the official translation for the passport stamps from a translation agency? I have multiple foreign stamps, Spanish and Turkish. Also what do you guys do for the stamps that only has the symbol and the airport name? Such as Frankfurt Main? It doesn't say exit or enter on the stamp, so there is really nothing to translate.

Please let me know what you guys did, in-terms of the passport stamp translation.

Thank you for your help.
I had stamps that had only symbol and date but it also had text on the top of the stamp that wasn't in English or French. So, I got those stamps translated. On a general note, it is best to get everything (stamps / visas) that aren't in English or French translated unless the stamp contains English equivalent for all foreign text on it.

Hi @rajkamalmohanram, thank you for your reply.
That is exactly what I am thinking about doing. I have about 35 stamps that requires translation and a couple of visas as well. Just get them all translated and be done with it rather than going back and forward and delaying the process.

Hello guys,

So I have a concern (which might not really be a concern but I am worried) that I would like to share so you all can offer me your opinions.

In August 2020, I had an emergency trip to visa family in Cotonou. I wished not to have traveled (as it would affect my Citizenship eligibility) but since it was family, I had to go. Upon arrival, as part of COVID protocol, two COVID tests were required (Saliva and PCR). With a negative result for the 5 minutes saliva test, you can leave the airport to return after 48 hours for the PCR test result. At the time of departing the airport after meeting immigration, the traveler is required to leave his/her passport until the PCR test result is collected (of course, should be negative). As I wasn't going to stay for a long time and needed to meet up with my schedule, I decided not to return to the airport until my departure.

On my departure day, I arrived very early at the airport, picked up my PCR COVID test result alongside my passport. This was the first time I saw my passport after I met with immigration upon entry. Looking at my passport, I noticed that the stamp didn't show the entry date (not legible). I was that bad! I thought about meeting the entry immigration but it wasn't that feasible. And since I was occupied with meeting up with my next flight, I had to go through check-in.

Again at the departure, having crossed an immigration agent who stamped me out, I noticed the same very very faint date. I was really disturbed (with Canada Citizenship in mind) that I had to go back to talk to the agent. The agent was actually not interested in my complaints until one of his colleagues had to stamp me again (she even stamped away from the previous stamp but on the same passport page). Now, I have two exit stamps; one with almost no date and the other with a clear date (for a single trip).

As IRCC requires all the passport pages, I am not sure how the officer will interpret these stamp issues (the entry stamp with no clear date and two exit stamps; one with almost no date and the other with a clear date).

Obviously, it isn't my fault but IRCC can still keep my application for a long time trying to verify it. This is really what I don't want to happen.

Can anyone please advise me on what to do? Take preemptive action by providing a letter of explanation (I don't really want to sound guilty as it is not needed at the moment)? My head is cracking.

Please advise! It will be very much appreciated!!!!

I think a detailed letter of explanation accompanying your passport pages should take care of that. I wouldn't fret too much about it.

Thanks for your reply @mohoozee. I was thinking about that. At the same, I thought of waiting for IRCC to raise the concern. Now, the important issue is what the timeline might turn out to be .

I wouldn’t think too much of it. If you wanna be proactive, you could submit a letter of explanation alongside it - otherwise, just wait and see what they think of it - they might ask you about it or they might not. There’s only one way to find out. Good luck! :)
