I think GCMS notes doesn’t necessarily push an officer to speed up on something, maybe it’s a co-incidence that people get it after applying for the notes. Just a thought !

You want application updates. It takes about 30 days but it will provide you with their system notes on your file.

If you do not have a copy of your application, this option would solve that.

Someone who is inland can apply GCMS on your behalf. Outlander can’t directly apply GCMS from outside of Canada

So I got my AOR and they asked for some documents. As I couldn't send it by GCKEY at that moment I sent it by webform, but it's already been around 8 working days and no word from them yet.
Should I send the documents again? Is anyone going through something similar?
