No, I did not update my address as I'm just visiting Canada and haven't moved yet. I got my PPR on July 23rd and got to Canada on July 27th. I notified my Visa office - Accra that I'm in Canada at the moment but the webform says it could take 28 business days before I get a response. So I was wondering if there was another way of going about it.

PPR will tell you to send the Passport to the closest VAC, it will tell you which VAC you can send to.

Ummm, the context of my question was to encourage the person asking what to do to ... read the instructions. And their specific issue was that they are in Canada, where you do not send to a VAC.

yes if you are in canada, you do not need to send to vac

We finally see decision made on the PA side of ECAS. I checked this morning Canadian time and it showed App Received, but tonight it shows decision made. So I presume its some sort of auto-approval. So, how long does it take from DM to PPR in the recent times?

AOR: Feb 13th 2021

Med updated: Feb 23rd

3. AOR1: 29 Apr 2021
4. Medical: 07 May 2021
5. AOR2: 14 May 2021 (Not officially received any email, but this date is based on ECAS Page Line #2)
6. Pre Arrival: 06 July 2021
7. In Process to Decision Made: 03 Aug 2021
8. PPR: 06 August 2021

Received Pre-Arrival. Worst Sunday ever, coz we thot the application would have been denied as it went to Decision made directly from Application received. Will call IRCC morning to confirm the status.
