Form 1295 - employment gap

Hello everyone,

While filling 1295 form,

I have 2 employment gaps with almost 5 months' duration. Do I need to fill the employment gaps and mention that I was doing freelance or unemployed? If I mention it as a freelance, do I need to provide any proof?

During one of my employment gaps in the year 2018, I went to Malaysia under a work permit (1-year permit) for a client while I was working on a freelance project. Due to their organizational issues, they send me back to India after one month and never called back. I do not have any experience or relieving letter from them and it’s not included in my Infosys experience. The Visa stamped in my passport was expired. Do I need to mention this in my employment details?

I think you should fill the form according to the CV you have submitted to your employer at the time of interview.

If you have already informed this to your employer and you have been offered a position, you should not worry about these gaps.

My company is applying for an ICT Visa. As I earlier mentioned, the one-month Malaysia experience is not included as an experience in my current employer. So when I upload the scanned passport copy the Visa stamping (1 year work permit) will be there. Will that become an issue?
