Of course. It will.
My documents are ready except for medical which I have booked already.
Do you have any idea if after receiving ITA, that we can upload and save information or documents while applying, just like OINP ?
Hey Maduka. Congratulations. Wanted to check your thoughts on next steps. From what I’ve gathered even after sending ITA, IRCC recommends that you process the application and submit all documents but hold medical off until they confirm that it’s ok for you to get it done. Otherwise there is a chance that it might just get expired by the time they pick up your application. Their homepage states that as of now they are looking at applications submitted in October 2020. Is my understanding wrong? Since you’ve already booked your medical, how are you seeing the next few steps of the process? Thanks in advance :)

Yeah I am not in a rush as the indian PCC is a bit complicated. Hopefully next time
Hey Ammar. I have the same question for you as what I asked @Maduka. What is the timeline that you are anticipating for next steps after receiving ITA. Since our documents are already in place, the thing that needs to be worked out is PCC and medical. Not sure where are you based out of in India, but what’s the timeline for both and when do you advise tha let I get started on this.
I submitted on 28th July and currently I’m in DIP. Thanks in advance

Hello @Aashima25. Can you provide a link to the page where you saw the information about the October 2020 processing? And the advice to hold off the medical?

I am based in Dubai and there are a few hurdles getting the PCC. Hopefully that will be sorted soon. Timelines depends on travel restrictions. IRCC are delaying the applications as they do not want to waste their time on reissuing the COPRs if people can't travel. It takes around 4 to 6 months in normal circumstances. If the travel resumes soon the process could take around 6 months. If doesn't then it could stretch more. (Referring to India, Pakistan, Philippines)

Thank you.
I understand that IRCC have backlogs but they are trying to speed up and ensure that COPRs are issued accordingly. Don’t forget that travel restrictions have been lifted except for some countries.
The next steps will be fast I suppose. I heard that those under PNP are usually processed faster like 4-5 months as most of their documents are already verified.

Hi.
Here is the advice to hold of the medical. Refer to the para under ‘If you and your dependants are outside of Canada’
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/medical-exams.html

The timeline but they have removed since the update on 29th last month. Can’t seem to find it anywhere.
