Also from Montreal, my test invite came from IRCC.MtlConvoTests-ExamensConvoMtl.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

For the spreadsheet, I got my invite on 6/29, passed 7/14, tracker updated 7/26

BTW is it normal that my background check is complete but for my spouse it is still in progress? We applied at the same time (both application sent together + kids too). Also will we get the test at the same time? or can it be different periods?

The Montreal office is the slowest based on my estimates from what I see here. But wow since March? It's been almost 5 months o_O

My husband's tracker now shows everything complete except for Citizenship Ceremony. Everything that was pending (except for Oath) was updated on July 29th after he did the citizenship test on May 17th. His test centre was Vancouver BC.

How long does it take to get asked to an Oath ceremony? Are they currently backed up? and are the ceremonies now being done physically or still virtual? We've waited so long, now getting impatient!!

That's Decision Made.

"How long for oath" is subjective, there isn't a standard timeline. I'd recommend that you expect at least 2 months from DM to Oath to avoid disappointment.

Yes, there is currently a backlog for oath and applicants are being scheduled for oath 2 to 3 months in the future.

I have sent my Citizenship Application on October 28, 2020 to Regular Mail Address by Canada Post. I have not yet received Application of Receipt from IRCC. I tried reaching out to IRCC through WebMail and Phone however they are still unable to see my application updated in their system. Has anyone in this forum faced similar issue?
