I have a small doubt. Once our passport reach the high commission the tracking using the provided AWB number will say delivered. After they stamp it, they will send it back to us via the courier again but would they give us a new AWB number for tracking the return?

Yes, you will receive another email which will say “requested additional details” - this email will contain a new tracking number from Blue Dart and another tracking ID which can be used on the VFS website to track your application before it is dispatched from the High Commission

So your passport was picked from pune and directly to delhi? Or was it redirected to someother location.
You can call bluedart customer care and ask about the reason

Yes, from Pune it went directly to Delhi..I assume that’s the status because it reached Delhi late and vfs was closed.

Hello guys, I got my courier picked yesterday and when I tracking my awb, it got delivered today morning. It says ahmedabad to Ahmedabad. Does it mean they have started stamping in Ahmedabad?

My passport was picked up yesterday 28-07 in the noon... Today it is showing Ahmedabad to Delhi ... Reaching Delhi Today

Its because it will go to the VFS in Ahmedabad and then it will be dispatched to IRCC, New Delhi for stamping.

Any idea, Why for some people they are directly sent to delhi? My friend also booked his passport stamping and for him also it was delivered in Ahmedabad, however i met one other guy his passport was sent to delhi direct..
Can't even understand how this process works

The passports sent to Delhi are not directly sent to IRCC, New Delhi. They are first sent to VFS Delhi where they sort the passports and they dispatch it to IRCC for the actual stamping

We cant understand the staff strength and logistics of VFS but its a smart company, I believe whatever they are doing must be for a faster turnover of PPs at IRCC both back and forth. Take me for e.g., being in Delhi my PP just reached Jalandhar.

I currently live like 50 kms away from VFS Delhi and they are sending my passport to Bangalore. Lol

While the passports zip zap across the country .. , can anyone throw light on how to get the 2nd Vaccine Dose for students. Maharashtra, where I live does not have any online portal/facility to book it, and COWIN is not ready yet to request for a student exception. How are you guys going about it ?

I’m not sure how it works in the city you are in- in Mumbai, there are designated centres for students going abroad that work on a walk-in basis. Visit -> collect the token -> provide proof of going abroad -> get vaccinated
