Got a reply from Winnipeg IRCC the other day because I submitted a web form to inform them of my job promotion. They literally said my file is still in QUEUE to be assigned to an officer. Note that my file was transferred to Winnipeg in March 2021. It’s been 4 months and still in queue.
My file has been in a queue in Winnipeg since May 2019. It must be a very long queue

Your case seems like it was transferred for finalization. Hope you will get some good news soon.
Is it a process? Like after eligibility done, medical done, criminality done do they transfer to local visa office for finalizing?

i hope . they should finalise old files first according to files recevied.
Well that’s definitely what they should do, but do they actually follow this rule? Who knows. I’ve seen a guy in this thread waited 36 months for Winnipeg office to touch his file. Now with the COVID excuse, I can’t imagine how much longer. But I do hope you will get good news cuz that would lift everyone’s spirits up in a way.

From the way I see it, you’ve passed everything. The last thing is security. They may ask for additional documents or give you a call to confirm if you are still in Winnipeg. I want to keep it positive here but things will only happen if an officer touches your file. Now when will the officer touch your file? That is what we won’t know.

This group scares the Hell out of me. I added my wife to my PR application after our wedding in November 2020 and file was transferred to Winnipeg somewhere is early 2021. The shit has just started for me!!

This is insane. Have you raised a webform yet or sent an email directly to Winnipeg IRCC?
I'm over 50 months since our file was accepted, more than two years of that in a queue in Winnipeg. We've tried everything. Our MP knows us personally now, lol. Letters, emails. We were even in the Toronto Star newspaper. Still nothing. The last we heard was that they haven't even put some of our documents on the system. Documents they received in 2017. We are going down the mandamus route now

Got GMCS note today. It took 5 weeks to arrive. So reason for transfer is Eligibility, but I noticed under the Paper File section, the latest info is 2021/07/07. Location: Digitized. even though it was transferred to Winnipeg on 2021/03/04. So it took 4 months to scan my file into the system. Does anyone have the same track?
