You get maximum points for 3 years of work experience. Anything more than that does not get you any more points. If you meet the CRS cutoff with the work experience, IRCC will use that to evaluate and not review everything you sent.

For FSW, Skilled work experience means that you’ve worked in 1 of these National Occupational Classification (NOC) job groups:

  • Managerial jobs (skill type 0)
  • Professional jobs (skill level A)
  • Technical jobs and skilled trades (skill level B)
Also, your skilled work experience must be

  • in the same type of job (have the same NOC) as the job you want to use for your immigration application (called your primary occupation)
  • within the last 10 years
  • paid work (have been paid wages or earned commission—volunteer work or unpaid internships don’t count)
  • at least 1 year of continuous work or 1,560 hours total (30 hours per week)—you can meet this in a few different ways:
    • full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full-time (1,560 hours)
    • equal amount in part-time work: for example 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
      • You can work as many part-time jobs as you need to meet this requirement
    • full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
@legalfalcon, thank you. Just to clarify, can IRCC consider as 3 years of work experience an experience which is made of: 1 year skilled job (primary occupation) + 2 years unskilled job (type C)? So, would one get same CRS points for such scenario, as the one who would apply with 3 years, all 3 in skilled profession?

Ohh.would you mind to update us if you get any response?
You will get something like this:

Good day X,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We are pleased to confirm the reception of the following documents:

  • Vaccination certificate
We have forwarded them and the information you provided to the responsible office for their consideration.

If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

Sincerely,
X

And then still nothing - not even a Ghost Update, so basically currently it has no effect, but we don't know if it will have effect after September.

Thanks, it works. One more question, do you have any idea if I can get in touch with an IRCC agent in 50 minutes? Or if you called, how much time you spent till you reach an agent?
The time would depend.
But try to call them near 8 am. Wait time will be less.

I tried to call IRCC today twice, each time I spent 10 minutes and at the end when I asked to speak with an agent they said that all the agents are busy and I can try later. Seems like I'm lucky searching for details regarding my application.

I received my GCMS notes today but it only has 12 pages. Is that the right one?
And saying Group Name: PNP-Crim not passed means?
Criminality and Security is assigned to SB17697 what does this means?

***AGENT REVIEW*** POLICE CERTIFICATES
RIO OK; no A36 concerns evident with PC on file. UCN tab has been verified in GCMS No UCN
found. Criminality decision not passed due to
outstanding RCMP clearance.
what does the above statemnet means?
I also got RCMP request on 22 January 2021.

Thank you

It is a right one.

UCN??? Did you mean UCI?
RIO OK??? Did you mean R10 OK?

Did you submit your rcmp certificate to them? It seems like they did not receive it by the time agent did this review. What date agent wrote a review? What date you sent your rcmp certificate to them?

What is your visa office? What office did a “Agent Review” for you?
Did you ever have any ghost updates?

Hello Thank you for your reply:)
I believe UCN is UCI and RIO is R10 I copied text from notes.
This note is from 22 January 2021 and the same day I got RCMP request and I updated my RCMP in February 2021.
Primary VO is CIO Sydney
Secondary VO is CPC Ottawa
The note is created by LJ9131 from CIO Sydney.
I never got any ghost update.

And also my application is at Ottawa or Sydney? What does primary VO and Secondary VO is for

So I ordered my second GCMS notes. These are the new ones from CBSA - under 20 pages vs the old 130 odd pages.... No major update but I did noticed that security-bio was indicated as passed....and then on the info-sharing screen they have started the process and I saw in front of 3 different entries "NRT" and there were 2 or 3 more which are blank and those were updated in early april. Rest everything is the same. No updates in notes or the other status fields. Eligibility - Passed, Medical Passed, Info sharing: In-progress and security and criminality not started.
