Looks like good news, atleast they are working on your file. I take any lil update as good news. It might either be ADR of police certificate or the GOLDEN MAIL PPR. Be hopeful buddy and let's see how it goes. And please do update us when there is any update.

Hmmm.. Thanks for replying...

I think read somewhere on this platform that we should avoid VFS and send directly to Accra...

Still unsure... Can someone pls confirm this pls? Thanks
Hey @Nneji, It was @Nneoma.muna who advised those getting PPR in Nigeria to avoid Lagos VFS. I hope by tagging her she'll respond to your request for information.

Looks like good news to me, PPR?! Have you checked if a correspondence was sent via GCKEY? Did you use a Representative? If so, it could have been sent to them. I would follow-up as soon as possible. If you didn't use a Representative, send a direct email to AVO (accraimmigration@international.gc.ca) you don't want to miss the deadline for passport submission. Don't wait, act!

Hi guys,
Please would appreciate it if someone can respond to my question. Thanks

1) Please can I send my passport directly to Accra Visa Office or MUST I send it through the VFS office in Lagos (because I really want to avoid stories that touch too)?

2) Any idea/rough estimate of the cost sending and also receiving passport (cos I think I saw somewhere that you pay both ways.. not sure)?

3) Is this address format for Accra Visa Office correct?

High Commision of Canada
Visa Section
P.O.Box 1639
Accra
Ghana
@Nneji I recommend posting your enquiry in this thread also: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/passports-to-accra-visa-office.528632/ just in case you don't get a response here.

You can always contact VFS in Ghana to inquire: National calls: 0302750200 / International calls: +233302750200, E: info.canghaiom@vfshelpline.com

1- contact mp (make sure u do that strategically)
2- make sure any supporting documents you send them are received, my case pregnancy note or report from the doctor didn’t get to IRCC

Please do we have anyone who submitted Passport to Accra VO through Lagos or Abuja VFS in June with their passport returned. I have mine submitted since June 14, approved June 30 and have not gotten back passport till now
If there is another way of sending passport to AVO without Lagos VFS please I would advise you use it. it doesn't make sense for one's passport to be held for more than 4 weeks
