Congrats!!! My timeline is very similar with yours. The medical request date and SA approval date are the same. Mine is also processed at CPC-M, but ECAS still shows IN PROCESS.
I am sure you will get the result very soon, it could be next week.

Thanks, did you need to submit re-medicals and/or police verification twice? If yes, did you submit the re-medicals yourself on the portal or physician sent them directly?
I just have one medical since December 2020.
I submitted police verification through the web page and email.

Hi all,
After a year of silence, yesterday I received the re-medical examination request for my mother.
I guess its a good news, assuming they have resumed the process. Wondering what next? Would they request Pcc and biometric also ?
Last Pcc sent was in May of 2020.
Any idea how much longer it might take from this point on? The application is with NDVO.

Hi All,

I had applied PR for my mother only in 2019 as my father was not willing to travel at all due to health issues. We got medicals request for both parents. My parents went to fortis hospital in bangalore today and we got a surprise from them that passport is mandatory for both. My father never applied for a passport and we just got medicals done for my mother. Anybody faced such scenario, or if not any inputs how to resolve this issue as this like i am stuck in a limbo.

Unfortunately I did not meet the minimum necessary income requirement for the year 2016, but in my application I indicated that I wish to continue with the processing of their permanent resident application regardless of any ineligibility. Do you think my parents still have chance?
No, they do not have a chance. By choosing to continue processing, you will now lose all the money for your parent’s portion of the application. I don’t even understand why they ask if you want to continue. If you aren’t eligible, then you aren’t eligible. No exceptions.

Check the requirement of provincial health to be qualified if you need the medical care. Some provinces like BC requires the person to be resident at least for six months.
BC only requires that you’re a resident for three months, not six.

Hi all. My parents sponsorship is hopefully at the end of processing. We already submitted PCC, medicals approved, fingerprints, etc. Really what is missing now is the DM and PPR. I really need help and my mom is coming to Canada in October, whether the DM is finalized or not (hopefully it will). Anyways, I have a few questions that I am sure some of you can help with shared experiences.

1. Would it be ok to just get her one way ticket? She intends on spending at least 6 months here or more, regardless of DM or not.
2. She had both shots of AZ vaccine back home. How can she prove that? Does she need certified translations? There is no such thing as an international "vaccine passport" now, so I am not sure how to officially prove she is immunized.
3. Dad will stay till DM. Can he come later by himself? Mom is the PA.
4. Any recommendations for health insurance with reasonable price and good coverage to get her while she waits for PR and OHIP?

Thanks so much for your help.
