Hi
We are planning to apply for PR in Canada and my husband is the main applicant. He got 3 stents in his heart. Is that gonna be affected for visa refusals?

It depends on the underlying condition that made the stents necessary, his current health, and his projected health for the next 5-10 years.

I am curious as well. I feel like it is unclear if any heart problems will cause PR to get denied.

Hello, for me the surgery( twice ) took place 11 years ago. Currently my application is submitted for work permit and it in progress. I am on warfarin which needs to be taken daily. Is this history causes any delays in approval? And also not sure, if this forum is right to ask this question.. B'caz, I have seen on web that warfarin is slowly getting stopped in Canada and other alternative blood thinners are available. So what would be the average cost of blood thinners in Canada annually? What is the procedure to get the prescribed medicine if change in blood thinner is needed and time frame in getting those tests done?

Hi there. If you're still on a forum, could you please update me on this?

My husband also got a stent in heart, he is taking both metoprolol and irbesartan.
