Will this plan work for travelling from Pakistan

I plan to travel on 12 August. The PCR requirements of Canada are confusing me a little.
My flight is from Islamabad - Istanbul - Vancouver (final destination)
I plan to get PCR from Pakistan within 24 hours of my first flight, and this gets me within 48 hours for flight Istanbul - Vancouver
Will this be okay ?

According to travel information available for canada:

"If you have a connecting flight: the test must be conducted within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your last direct flight to Canada"

So at the time when you are departing from Istanbul, test time should be within 72 hours

does that test have to be from your last point of departure or can it be from initial destination ?

Get the test done on the last day though a max 72 hour, at the time of boarding is the requirement. Your test in Pakistan is sufficient and no more PCR test is required to reach Vancouver.

PCR test is verified at boarding airport as per instruction from destination country.

Since you have a connecting flight. At islamabad airport, your test will be verified according to Turkish requirements. And at Istanbul airport, your test will be verified açcording to Canada requirement.

As you can easily read "scheduled departure time of your last direct flight to Canada". Your last direct flight is at Istanbul.

Therefore, you should be within 72 hours at the time of boarding at Istanbul airport for your flight to Canada.
