Can he enter Canada with

or we need to apply for a new TRV for him? Please if anyone can help here would be great!
Do you mind sharing his timelines for the open work permit.

Hi All,

I received my AOR on May 28th 2020, primary applicant inland and dependents outland. Does anyone with similar stats received their COPR or atleast their application got finalized? Please let me know.

Hello everyone,

Looking to see if anyone can assist with this.

I have applied for visitor status for my spouse on June 4th, 2021 on the new portal with "other-covid 19" steps. But it is July 13 and I have got no response. Please advise how to request them to speed up the process? I have already sent a web form today requesting in speeding up the process.

Note: I already have CEC-ITA from June 2021 last week and collecting my documents for submission.

Please advise if any email or message should be sent.
Country where you are applying from? Check processing time for it as well. I think currently they are not processing visitor visa application until travel restrictions are lifted.

@skat2111 Good to see this update. I got confirmation portal 1st email on 9th July but I haven't got credentials yet(2nd email). Don't know how long will it take. In the letter it says

You and every dependant included in your application need to be in Canada to use the portal. If you or one of your dependants currently live outside Canada, let us know by replying to this message: IRCC.ClientPortal- PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca.

So not sure how this will work. My spouse has already got her visa stamped on her passport so it's just me left... and I am in Canada.

I would suggest that you raise a webform as sometimes it can help you get credentials quickly. It happened with a friend of mine who got his credentials 5 days after he raised webform. Not sure whether it was because of web form that they acted but still give it a try.

I replied to that email stating my spouse status is inactive in Canada. My spouse also replied the same. I received credentials 3 days after that.

How did your spouse got her passport stamped? Did she apply any other visa? Which country is your spouse applying from?

Anyone on the similar situation? I applied for my CEC PR application on March 2020. Biometrics and medicals done oct 2020. No response until April 2021. Got married April 2021 and added my outland (india) spouse into the application. Received email from ircc that they received the documents on May 2021. No response yet on my application neither request for biometrics or medical raised for spouse yet.
I called IRCC and sent 100s webforms but same response that someone is working on the file.My post graduate work permit will expire Jan 2022 and for no reason i have to apply for bridge work permit before it expires. I feel i am the only unlucky candidate with this kind of scenario.
I am also part of this. I applied in Nov 2019 under CEC. I got married in Jan 2020, added spouse in April 2020 since then no update on my profile. I contacted to IRCC many times, but no luck.

Hey, congrats on getting your COPR!!!!!

I have a couple of questions that I would really appreciate if you could answer.

1. In the email, they ask if both applicant and dependents are inside Canada. Since your spouse is outside, how did you reply to this and what was the process?
2. Did your spouse get a PPR to get her passport stamped?
3. Do they issue COPRs separately to you and your spouse? For example, you'll get it while your spouse's COPR will go on hold until she is in Canada?
