Hi all,

Currently, I am in Canada, recently started working after finishing my studies.

My time line is as follows,

First Visit to Canada : 3rd Jan 2021
Finished studying : End of April 2021

Second visit to Canada (to Start work) : 15th May 2021
Applied for PGWP : 17th May 2021
Started working full time : 25th May 2021

I got the below email twice now, I'm just wondering should I get another medical exam or can I just ignore that as I am already in Canada.

Someone please advice ?

It's nothing to worry about, it's an automated email received by a lot of my friends, no need to do medical again. Just continue your work

Hello All,
I got the same message for renewal of my medical, but I am currently studying in Canada. My question is, if I want to visit India during holidays and comeback, during my study tenure, do I need to renew my medical?

Only if you stay there for 6 months or more.

So basically if we traveled outside of canada and returned and planing to stay more than 6 months, do we have to provide medical ?

I don't understand the process, nobody told me in the immigration either.

Currently I have applied for a work permit, my study program is done. I am keep getting that email saying to renew my medical, nothing is in GCKey account. I don't know what to do

"To travel to and enter Canada, you must have valid immigration medical examination results

if:
you come from a designated country/territory AND plan to stay in Canada for more than 6 months or
you plan on studying or working in health care, child or elder care, or primary or secondary education setting.
"

And I am already in Canada,

I am still outside Canada. I had received this email and completed my medicals again. I am not able to upload it using webform. They said since there is already a decision on my file they cant add more documents. Now my GC account says my counterfoil is invalid. I am traveling on July 6th. What can I do?

I have my medical reports. New medical acknowledgement and also a screenshot from the medical center acknowledging that they uploaded my medical on June 20th.

They don't need to add the new medicals to your application. You only need to send them the new e-medical sheet and wait for them to update you that you have passed.

You should have done your re-medicals much earlier since you know you can't travel with an invalid medical. It takes about 4-6 weeks for IRCC to update medicals. I doubt you'll be able to travel in a few days but you can try and see if they will accept the proof you have and allow you board.

Hi. Sorry to bother you but i have one question regarding the medical exam because I also received the same email for my application .

Did you do an upfront medical exam without asking for request letter? And did you provide the previous medical report for reference at the medical center?

Thank you very much

Your immigration medical examination results expire on August 20, 2021.

Now the thing is i am already approved visa last year and currently IN CANADA working full time since March 2021. This email makes no sense to me. Any ideas ? Should i ask the immigration ? or ...... ?

Yes, I had done my medicals previously upfront without a request. When I did it again, they created a new UMI no. Medicals is linked to the passport. They uploaded it linking with my passport no. My status has again changed back to Valid after raising multiple webforms.
