I have no idea.... I never asked about the VO honestly.

Thanks! No points for my current job, and I’m on a BOWP. I’m just concerned about the CEC terms and conditions. I know we can’t live and work in QC, but I don’t know if working remotely for a QC company while living in Ontario is acceptable…

Based on my knowledge where you live is important not where you work. All of your insurance, taxes, driving license are based on your home address not your workplace. Therefore it shouldn't be an issue. But still you can ask an agent to make sure everything will be fine.

Yeah, thanks, that makes sense. My entire life is in Ontario, my kids go to school here, I pay my taxes here, I would physically work from here, I have no intention to ever move to Montreal... This shouldn't be a suspicious case for them.

Any one with outland dependents got copr??

Called ircc ,agent told me that "everything is approved on my file, only thing holding back from copr is my outland dependent -india. As there are travel restrictions for india. Don't know when visa office start sending ppr to dependents and ircc has to clear such files as there are lots of them."


So close to pr but due to travel restriction they are holding copr..

I got that email as well and I don´t know if I should resubmit IME. What did you do at the end?

Due to COVID-19, we have made some changes to the way you can meet this requirement.

If you are currently in Canada, we understand that you may not be able to secure an appointment for an IME within a short timeframe and we will accept proof of an appointment booked in some circumstances. Please visit Medical exams for Express Entry for full details before you arrange your IME.

If you’ve already completed your IME, please proceed with your application submission as usual.

No, I did nothing... If I remember correctly many people received the same email. If you have already submitted it, I guess it is a general email.

I am worried due to a similar situation. My wife was outland when I applied but she is now here with me. I have informed IRCC that my wife is now in Canada but I dont know if this is going to work out for us.

No answer to my status update inquiry either...

Just tired of their delays and endless wait on every step.
