Well processing averages 3 months but your first refusal was quick. So if you addressed all the issues from your GCMS notes then it may take longer to review.
Ive heard that ircc is very quick in refusing applicants if an application does not meet the requirement. And Iexoerienced it. Do you know any case refused after more than a month from eligibility check?

Hello @Naturgrl and @Ironclad

Very warm wishes to you.

I have a couple of questions to you guys. Please pardon my stupidness if they don't make sense.

I am now 34 yrs of age and applying for a student visa, hopefully in this Fall or latest by Spring next year I plan to land in Canada. When I finish my studies and provided i get my PSWP and get to stay 2 more year of visa,

1. will i be eligible to apply for PR under CEC category?

2. Will my age factor hamper the success of getting an ITA?

1. If you have at least one year Canadian experience in NOC A, B or 0.
2. If yours score is high enough for the draw then you will get an ITA. You lose 5 points every year.

Thank You so much for the quick reply. Much appreciated and it has given great clarity how to go about it.

Hello @Naturgrl and @Ironclad,

I have got a very peculiar question to you guys.

Can someone on visit visa to Canada convert into a student visa? or any other visa?

Also, what are the chances of someone who last studied was in year 2012 with a Master's degree of getting admitted to a Canadian University? Would that be a negative factor for the universities to offer an admission ? would that effect in getting visa ?

Your earliest replied would be of great help.

You can’t covert a visitor visa to a study permit. You get admitted (no one can tell you your chances) and then apply for a study permit. It is processed from your home country so you show strong ties, career and education progress and funds.
