Hi everyone, following is my timeline PR renewal

PR app received February 17, 2021.
sent correspondence April 21, 2021.
started processing April 21, 2021.

Sent 2 webforms and they say you will have to collect your PR from office and would be contacted to schedule an appointment, but still no correspondence so far whatsoever, is anyone else on the same boat?
Exactly same timelines - no further updates.

PR app received February 18, 2021.
sent correspondence April 21, 2021.
started processing April 21, 2021.

New PR card

Hi everyone,

I received my CoPR on 26 January 2021
I sent my photo to IRCC mail within a week as suggested on my CoPR.
I have not received my new PR card yet.
On my CIC profile, it says my CoPR has expired on May 12th, 2021.
Where can I find whether CIC has mailed it out or not?
I tried to call CIC several times, the call was getting disconnected every time.
Can someone please advise me about further actions?

I appreciate any response
Thanks

Is it straightforward renewal, are you way above the residency obligation or just achieved it with low days count above it

Hello,
I have just submitted my PR card renewal. Based on Canada post tracking, it was delivered to CPC on June 17. I have questions regarding ability to re-enter canada with an expired PR card (I plan to travel to india once flight bans are lifted)

My understanding is one has 2 alternatives to re-enter canada:

1, PRTD : Anyone knows if Canadian consulates in India is processing PRTDs? How long does it take?
2. I also read that you can enter through land, and can produce alternate documents (other than PR Card). Anyone has experience/information what alternate documents can be used to renter (again this is contingent to land borders with US reopening)

Another question about PR renewal process. What are the general steps / milestones I need to watch out for? (Like application recieved --> status shows up online --> AOR Received etc..)?

Thanks

Depending on the duration of you stay you can get someone to mail it for you as well. But yeah now you should wait to receive aor in your mail which takes the most time. I submitted mine in the beginning of april still dont have it and then after that unless they want you to pick it up it is at max 10-14 days more by what I have seen here

Thanks ! WHen does the status start showing up on the (typical timeline) the ircc page (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html). When I input my details to check the status, it says they cannot find my record. Trying to understand what others' experience has been?

You cannot check your status on the system until you have receive AOR with an application number. From the Application number, you should be able to link to your GC key account to check on status.

Your residency is valid without your PR card being valid. We have crossed the US/Canada border when my husband forgot ( thought he lost it) his PR card and there were no problems, they called him in to have a chat and that's it.

If you have a US visa or don't need one, then you will be allowed to board your plane and you just drive across. If you tried to fly to Canada without a valid PR card they won't let you board your plane.
