If you submitted a complete application by 15th may, IRCC promises to give you a decision lasted August 6.I was wondering if the information which came on CIC website still valid that those who sent their study applications latest by 15th May 2021 will get their Visa decision on 6th August 2021 for September Intake?
Hmmm..mine was not a complete application..although I sent my application but without biometrics and medicals which I submitted later. If you submitted a complete application by 15th may, IRCC promises to give you a decision lasted August 6.
sent my application but without biometrics and medicals which I submitted later. As mentioned clearly on the website, if you submitted a complete application including biometrics and medical exam by May 15, then you are guaranteed a decision by August 6.
I know the date has already passed..just wanted to confirm about the 6th August date.what do you mean still valid? that date has passed now, if you are applying now - you may or may not get a decision by Aug 6, its just not guaranteed - engraved on the website u know!!
I myself applied on June 5 as I was waiting for the transcript from my college, if you file a full application - just wait for it - -IRCC teaches patience the best!
If you did bio and medicals after 15th May, you might get the decision by 6th August but not guaranteed.sent my application but without biometrics and medicals which I submitted later.
The definition of complete application is vague here -- like, medicals & bio as @wonderbly said, might be done later due to restrictions so prima facie it should be treated complete at least for the purpose of reviewing if the applicant meets the IRPA conditions of a bona fide student.I know the date has already passed..just wanted to confirm about the 6th August date.
This sounds a good idea, have those notes on applicant profile on real time base, reallocate resources that were dealing with the notes raised to do something else, that way can speed up other backlogsThe definition of complete application is vague here -- like, medicals & bio as @wonderbly said, might be done later due to restrictions so prima facie it should be treated complete at least for the purpose of reviewing if the applicant meets the IRPA conditions of a bona fide student.
Man I sometimes wonder why IRCC just not makes those GCMS thingy publicly accessible to each person in GCKey itself, then we'll know even if there's a small note put in by the VO.
Exactly! I remember calling IRCC in April end and they said we have doubled up our people just to clear the webform backlogs. Why not look at the root cause why people are sending webforms in the first place. Well who are we to rant - non-tax payers, lol, but I do hope immigration becomes more convenient and transparent in coming days. This sounds a good idea, have those notes on applicant profile on real time base, reallocate resources that were dealing with the notes raised to do something else, that way can speed up other backlogs
