What do you mean by “different ways”. Spouse can apply for SOWP

The only real way for your spouse to attempt to live with you in Canada would be via an OWP. There must be over 6 months left in their studies to qualify and other requirements like having extra funds to support another person. If your spouse only wants to visit you then you can apply for a TRV.
