Medical instructions

Hello,
I had checked with the panel physicians in the city and they informed that medical exam can only be done after receiving instructions, upfront exams have stopped.
Considering this situation I applied for visa, but couldn't get under SDS as I didnt hv medical done, could apply through general.
Could anyone tell if after how many days of applying for visa approximately will we receive medical instructions?

Actually I applied 2nd time via SDS on may 28th ... though my upfront is valid for another 70 odd days ... I was sent a new medical request again to complete on june1st .. which I eventually did ....
