Hi to apply for my common law partner's open work permit, does my job need to be fulltime. It is a noc b position but hours are part time. Im on a pgwp.

Thanks

You can apply but it will be scrutinized more so show you have the funds to support your spouse. Also make sure you have all the proof for common-law (rental agreements etc.).

Hi thank you for the reply!

We had already applied once before and gotten approved. But my spouse's passport's validity was lower than the work permit (3 years). So we are extending it. Ill make sure to show more funds and update the common law documents and send it with what we had sent before. My spouse is also working right now which I could show as well. Hopefully thats enough.

Thanks again!
