You can work if your study permit has the condition that says you can. And only after your program officially started.

I guess the answer is no. Since you haven't even started school on January 2022. (unless you mean Jan 2023 when you are continuing your study starting Sep 2022)

Being approved of a Canadian study permit allows you to work for 20hrs per week only when actively studying/upon class resumption.
