Hello,

IN the citizenship application checklist do we still have to "check" the checkbox next to "If you are 18-54 years of age and unable to demonstrate that you have the necessary English or French language ability due to a medical condition, you must submit a supporting evidence with your application" - if it doesn't apply to me? i.e. would my application be returned if I don't check it? My confusion is because the instructions say "Gather your documents in the order of the checklist and check each item"

Thank you,
Teja.

Hello @nvteja yes you will need to check the box in the checklist for the line item which says "Photocopy of proof that demonstrates adequate knowledge of English or French" if you are between 18 to 54 years of age. If you are less than 18 years of age or older than 54 years of age then its not applicable to you.

Thank you @navid2014! My query was for the line beneath the "Photocopy of proof that demonstrates adequate knowledge of English or French" though, which is "If you are 18-54 years of age and unable to demonstrate that you have the necessary English or French language ability due to a medical condition, you must submit a supporting evidence with your application". I don't have to check this one, right?

If this does not apply to you and you have only one checkbox (No 'Yes' or 'No' checkboxes), then leave it alone. Do NOT check it.
