What did they ask for and by what date? You can raise a webform and ask.

they asked for phil pcc. however, i’m based in UAE and can’t provide it in the 7 day deadline that they gave me

Yes, I had a similar situation. I needed more time for the PCC so I sent a webform. They responded but they didn't categorically say I was granted. The response just said "...the necessary has been done". I was able to expedite my PCC and got it before the initial 4 weeks I was granted.

However, when I got my GCMS it was noted in the notes that " applicant requested extension on PCC as it takes 6 weeks...".

also i was only given 7 days to get a pcc

There was a slot opened on my application portal for me to upload it.

oh okay. so you were able to upload it on the initial deadline given to you? i uploaded a LOE in lieu of the pcc requested asking for an extension. it’s been a month and i haven’t received any response my status is stuck in ‘The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.’

You should have sent the LOE via webform, instead of uploading it in the placeholder, prior to the deadline. But no worries, It's fine. If you uploaded, they've got it. As soon as you get the PCC, just send via webform.
