I am slowly losing hope about my visa application for my husband and I wanted to know if I was the only one in this situation.
We applied for a visa on December 8th(2021) and got an email for digital prints on December 9th(2021) so we were really excited.
Then my boyfriend went to the VFS GLOBAL to give his finger prints on December 14th(2021).
We are married since January 2020 and I thought that we gave them all the documents they needed.
At that moment on the treatment time website it was written that it was taking around 90 days to get an answer for the visa request.
Then February 24th they asked for pictures to prove our relationship and a letter that was telling how we met and everything about our relationship as well as my plane tickets to prove the times we met.
It's been 5 months since he went to give his finger prints and 3 months since they asked for more relationship proofs.
The treatment time went to 121 days a 2/3 weeks ago and to 144 days a week ago.
I would leave and go see him but I am working right now and I have a contract until August.
I never thought that a VISA application that took 2 weeks before COVID would take 5 months.
Would u please tell me how long it took for you to get an answer and the dates on which u applied and got updates ? PLEASE
