I applied August 12th. Received my AIP yesterday (May 11th). This morning I noticed on the online tool for checking your application status it went from "In Process" to "Decision Made" although I haven't received any message in that regard and our account still says making final decision, so hopefully the final decision comes soon!

Hi all, we received AIP and SA today. I did my medical a couple days ago but it still needs to be acknowledged by IRCC.

August 31st applicant. See full timeline in signature.

Hi, thank you so much!! :D I am the PA. ECAS says that they started processing on 29th March 2020 on PA side. On Sponsor side, it shows that they started processing on May 6th 2020. Wishing you the best of luck with your application!

Just last question
Did your Sponsor side status Changed to “Application Received “ from “In process” before receiving your SA and AIP

Received OWP on May 11. I received notice that I have been approved as a sponsor today.

We have deferred our medical exam since my wife is pregnant and does not wish to have her xray before birth, so I expect our application won't progress any further.

Anybody know can I apply for health card After getting AIP and SA?
It depends which province you are in. In BC we were actually able to apply before, we only had to submit our receipt for the PR application.

Yes, you're able to apply for OHIP with your AIP. Just be careful which Service Ontario (SO) you go to as from my personal experience not all SOs deal with AIP perm res applications. Your best bet is to contact SO and explain your situation, they should be able to tell you which office to go to along with booking an appointment for you. Make sure to take your passport, AIP letter and a form of ID with your address on it. if you have an OWP, take that too just in case

Thats okay, you don't need the OWP if you have AIP, i just took mine just incase they questioned something. You'll also need to call SO to find out which office in your area will process your application

I called yesterday and they said we need the letter which is saying your application is almost complete or it reached last stage. That person also didn’t know much about it. I called their customer care number . I would be more help if you tell me which location you went. I can go anywhere. Specific address is in Brampton. If you have that number you called and book appointment. Please let me know and what actually you told them etc etc.
