Hello,i need some advice and information regarding sponsoring my parents.
I am permanent resident, and my husband is Canadian .
We have the income that they need for sponsoring for 3 years 2019-2020 and 2021 just that the 2021 taxes we fill after February .
I wanted to know if is there any chance that i can apply for sponsorship this year that is coming,i read on the government website, and it says that on the January or February they are going to open the application.
How long the application are open for .
And i have 2 brothers, first one its 20 years old,my second will be 22 years old on April 2022 ,so they are under 22 years old if i apply on January, can my parents include my brothers on their application before my brother turns 22 ?
Thank you!

We don't know when the 2022 program will open, when the draw will happen, and when you would be able to submit your application.

Assuming the draw happens early enough, you are selected, and you can submit your application before your second brother turns 22, then yes - you can include him in the application (along with your younger brother). Make sure you have enough income in all three years to cover six dependents (this assumes you have no children).

Thank you for the response,i have two children and i am expecting my third,
But it's been 3 years that we did the income for 9 persons,my Two children me ,my husband and then my parents,my brothers, and i was doing extra because i have a sister but she is 23 years old ,but i can use that for my unborn child ,so we have done for 9 persons. My concern is if the application will open in January or February, and I haven't done the taxes for 2021 ,or at the beginning we just apply, and if we are chosen we can provide the tax information after February ?

We don't know when the program will open. You'll have to wait until these details become available. It might not open until later in the year which may make it too late to include your older brother.

You can also expect there will be far more applicants than spots available.

The only thing you can do now is wait. Good luck.

And in the pervious years, it was a lottery system. So even if you qualify, it depends on your LUCK.

Again since IRCC hasn't announce any news on PGP for 2021 or 2022 yet, none of us know.

And just to add to the above... The 2021 program hasn't opened yet and there's no announcement about when it will open.

Thank you very much, and the last question that i have ,hopefully this year they will announce early,do they ask for taxes on the first application,or after you are selected you can give the tax info ,just wondering because we usually we make the taxes on the end of February?
