I flew to Buffalo and then took a cab from the airport to Toronto, which will run you 250 USD.

I am really interested in your experience. I am going to need to do something similar when I get called up for my test. Except I need to get to Ottawa.
I am finding it very difficult to identify a company that does taxi's from Ogdensburg to Ottawa. Did you have to take a Covid test in Buffalo before heading to the airport? I'd love to hear the details.

You may have personal reasons to be in Ottawa. But my understanding is for test you just need to be in Canada. Meaning you can just be in Niagra falls area (not even Toronto) or anywhere inside Canada across the border. Find a free wifi (not your phone internet), take the test with you laptop. Then go back. All may take 1-2 hours.

My FP was delivered on the 30th of April. Does anyone know how long after one will get a test invite?

Hi All, once the knowledge test is completed, will the processing continue at the local immigration office, or will it be at a centralized location? I live in Mississauga and am asking to understand the impact of lockdowns on the processing to "decision made" and further. Thanks.

I hope someone can answer my query. My spouse and I are not in Canada at the moment. She received an interview request for May 4th 2021 along with a request to submit passport copies for the 5 years prior to the application. Due to some personal issues, she is not able to travel. She sent an email to the case officer as advised in the interview paperwork a week ago along with the documents requested. She requested if they can postpone the interview until September 2021. She has not yet received a reply. Should we be worried?

If anyone has gone through this or a similar experience, please advice.

Received test invite on April 26.
Completed the test today, May 02, 2021.

I wouldn't worry about it as it take them almost a week to get back to you with even a generic reply. Hopefully you will receive a response in this week. Good luck!

This process made me very stressful, So I have stopped checking regularly.

Today I have logged into check the status - it was Decision made. I am not sure when the my Status changed to Decision Made,.

I am still anxious, I have not received any e-mail or mail from CIC. What is the process after this? will get a e-mail or mail about the decision made.

Can someone please help me here. Much appreciated.
