Hello, I'm new here. I have a master's degree in criminology and social work. I wanted to study accounting, and I have a question. By the time I apply for residency (PR) I will be 36 years old, is it feasible to apply for residency? I played with a calculator of EE and get only 420, this includes knowledge of English, one year of experience in Canada and homeland. What are the chances of getting residency? And are there other ways to get it? Provincial support and more

420 is a low score. IRCC has announced that it's planning on making changes to the Express Entry program but none of the details are available yet and we don't know if these are small changes or large changes.

Unfortunately no one can tell you what your chances will be of getting PR. Your age will certainly be working against you at that point.

Yes, you can also look into applying for PR through the PNP program but some of those also seem to be changing / evolving.
