Hi all, I would like to get some expert advice on my situation:

I submitted a TRV application online (to visit family) a few days ago. In my IMM5257, I unfortunately forgot to declare a tourist visa refusal for South Korea that happened about a decade ago. It completely slipped my mind that it even happened. Anyway, today I remembered it and panicked. After reading a few threads about similar situations on this forum, I scrambled to send a Case Specific Enquiry and submitted an explanation along with an amended IMM5257.

But then, some time later, I started thinking about it again and realized that I'm not actually sure when the visa refusal happened. I wrote in my amended IMM5257 that it happened in 2011, but now I'm not sure if it was 2011 or 2012. No record of my visa refusal appears on my passport so I can't confirm. Maybe if I call the embassy of South Korea, I can find out, but that won't be until Monday and I'm not even sure if they will entertain such a request.

In any case, my question is - would your expertise suggest I submit another Case Specific Enquiry to clarify that I can't actually remember the year I was refused the visa? My concern is that on the one hand, not clarifying this might be taken against me, but on the other, sending another Case Specific Enquiry about the same thing within such as short amount of time and with such a vague statement might cause confusion regarding my application and not help my case at all.

By the way - the reason for refusal was not specified by the South Korean embassy as far as I recall, but I assume it had something to do with my lack of travel history and funds at that point in my life, as I had just started working and had only been out of the country once or twice at that time. To be honest, logic tells me that I should not press the issue too much since this refusal was nothing big (not due to fraud or anything, and I have been granted visas to other countries since) and that by sending the first CSE I have already shown my honest intention to be transparent about it. But I don't know, that's my logic, I'm not sure how IRCC will take it. What do you think?

You might not travel any time soon anyways even if the visa is approved. So just take it easy.

Send in a webform declaring the missed refusal
I already did, but in that CSE, I said the refusal happened in 2011. But thinking about it some more, now I'm not sure if it was 2011 or 2012. I have really bad memory and there is no record of this refusal anywhere so I can't confirm. My question is if I should send one more CSE to say that actually I'm not sure when it happened or if it's better to just leave it be since I'm not sure anyway.

Would send a second CSE
