My sis-in-law submitted her application in August 2020.
Received AOR today with Application number (Not temporary number)

Now she submitted 5669 instead of E5669.
1. Should she summited updated form and upload through webform or wait for them to reach out?
2. Can her application be returned now?

Hi,

Someone replied earlier but I thought I'd provide more info. There are some people who never received temporary AOR but eventually got AOR. So your sister shouldn't be demotivated.

To check the status of her application, she can call the IRCC directly. I'm not sure what menu options she will have to follow to get to speak with an agent. But she should try to get to a point where she can press "0" to speak with an agent. When she does so, she can inquire about the status of her application and why no temporary AOR was assigned. I imagine that they will be able to locate her application by UCI Number or Receipt Number. At this point, someone should have gone through her application to determine if it was deemed complete.

Alternatively, she can order GCMS notes.

Also, only Outland Applications are being expedited on the grounds for fast family reunification. Generally speaking, for Outland apps, the PA is usually in another country while for inland apps, spouses live in Canada together.
Thanks

That's excellent news re: AOR - I'm not sure what's the difference between 5669 and E5669. I doubt they will return the application at this point. The officers probably understand by now that people are panicking and forwarding extra supporting docs. Don't take my word for it though cause I don't know how the IRCC operates.

Hi guys
I have a question to ask
I already gave my biometrics in 2019. So I don’t have to give again but i already paid my biometrics fee with the application. I have an AOR now. Do i call IRCC For refund?

Hello there,
I’m new to the forum. Just a general question. I applied for my wife’s inland application in August-2020 and till now She got AOR and biometric request. She gave biometrics on March 23 and yet there’s no update in online ECAS. It just says “Received application”. In a spreadsheet, lots of people update as biometric passed. How would they know?
Thanks in advance folks.

Are there august applicants who didn't received medical request? My application was received on August 11. Got aor on March 24. Then no updates. Just worried.
