I don't know why IRCC is putting everyone under stress, as -

1. Almost everyone (90% Plus) is qualified for these programs if given proper time to have IELTS, PCC, Medical ready.
2. IRCC wants to meet annual quota, Temporary people want PR. It's a win-win situation.
3. Language requirement is so low that it's a wastage of time and $300+ spent on an IELTS test.

I mean why go through all this paper work, unnecessary stress, wait time when you can simply say all international graduates are PR now from today onwards. Imagine the amount of clarifications required for 6 new streams, staff working on stupid unproductive work, paper wastage.

Also anyone (100%) of people who stepped out of their homes during pandemic should be classified as essential workers, nobody in their right mind would not work from home if given a choice, but students generally don't get such jobs on PGWP.

Quota is discriminatory, say for example if out of 50,000 eligible 40,000 are accepted. What crime had those 10,000 done to deserve this treatment.

Did you know that some agencie and individuals are selling IELTS text time slots, going for 2500 dollars a piece... Just saying.

You like to put yourself under stress. It hasn't even been a week since this was announced and they haven't yet release the application details and such. Come on people, give it until the end of next week at least before we start going nuts with conjectures here.

Alright, one week. If this week goes on without any new announcements regarding the new stream I'll start panicking.

Every one of Canada’s immigration streams has a criteria and quota in place, even if Express Entry phrases it differently. That’s not going to change.

This, Canada might be less nit picky now because of the pandemic and immigration targets. But I doubt it would get to a point where "anyone with X status gets PR" because Canada can still afford to pick the best of the best. This new stream is not quite an exception, it requires applicants to either have a job or have work experience. After all, Canada wants highly employable people who won't be a burden to the system.

Bit this stream doesn't want the best of the best. It wants the fastest/those who already have language test. There is no criteria to choose the best 40 000 out of those who applied.
