I submitted my EE-PNP application with Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Local district police station (SSP office). IRCC used to accept the PCC from Local district police station (SSP office) but i recently heard from somebody that IRCC is not accepting such PCC but are accepting only got through BLS international or Passport Suvidha Kendra??

Can somebody help me with this, if this is true or not?

@legalfalcon I ordered GCMS notes 3 times and I saw that in 2 times the date of Notes issue was close to the date when I requested the Notes. So by the moment you receive the notes they are already 1 month outdated.

In CBSA notes ordered I saw that they were issued around the end of the month, coincidence or not. So does it mean that ordering CBSA notes is better in terms of receiving the latest notes?

IRCC's process for Gcms Notes is quite regimented and the notes are generated early in the process (in the first few days to a week or so).

CBSA's team on the other hand tends to generate the notes closer to when the CBSA analyst is ready to review them and take the next steps with it.

So relatively speaking yes information from CBSA can be more recent and in fact we do see that in many cases they indeed are.

Hello @legalfalcon if I get promoted in the same organization will I need to inform IRCC of my promotion or not ?. My new role would have different responsibilities to the one I claimed points for in my EE profile.

You have to apply for the PCC through Passport Seva Kendra since they will issue the PCC from Ministry of External Affairs and only that will be accepted by IRCC for EE. IRCC will reject PCC if you get it from your local police station.

For a promotion within the same organization you do not need to inform IRCC. Your application is locked on the date you submit it and this does not matter.

On the other hand if you were to change employers then you should inform IRCC should IRCC verify employment they should always have the correct info.

Your application is locked on the day you submit it. Any changes post submission do not matter. A promotion within the same organization is of no consequence and you do not have to inform IRCC of the same.

Only if you change your employer, and leave the employment for which you claimed points, you should inform IRCC so that they know that you no longer work for the employer.

In your situation, there is no need.

Thank you, that’s what I thought. That basically means there’s no point to order notes from IRCC any more, because why pay for checking 1 month outdated information, when you want to see the most recent one. Only CBSA notes all the way then.

@legalfalcon @caipsnotes I got few questions on the file processing. This is my particular situation described.

AOR is Nov-20, so around Jan-21 after Biometrics submission I had in Criminality the status "Passed-Bio" and the first page of GCMS Notes said that Criminality is Passed. However, one of my PCC had in the Notes status "Review Required". It's a long story why, basically I submitted a copy of PCC supralegalized by the Consulate, because original didn't arrive by post mail then even after 3 months. So, I get why "Review Required" appeared. In end of Jan they started the A11.2 Eligibility check processed by case processing agent and he changed the status of Criminality from "Passed" to "Not started".

Since then, they already received the original PCC, but nobody reviewed it in all these months. I wonder why the status was "Passed" and then "Not started"? My explanation is that everyone gets "Passed - Bio" automatically once biometrics are done and then they switch it to "Not started" until they'll actually do a Criminality check. Another explanation is that if not that "Review required" on the PCC, by now the Criminality would have been passed straight away from the first attempt.

2nd question on Eligibility. I see they processed during A11.2 the first Eligibility check, it says "Passed". In details it says:

A11.2 Met
R75 FSW minimum requirements: Met
R76 Selection criteria FSW: Appears to Meet
R76 Funds: Appears to Meet

Then in the Eperience note describing what for I got points and what was verified, they mention in the end: FSW Work: 1 year, CRS Foreign Work: 3+ years. Work experience: 6+ years.

This is a bit confusing. I get why there would be FSW Work experience of 1 year and I get why they would separate the other work experience. Considering that in the Notes above in A11.2 they mention "PA gained points for 3+ years Foreign work experience with ..." I kind of wonder how the points system for work experience generally works.

Like, generally speaking, I knew that you need specifically skilled work experience to apply for Express Entry, but does it mean that if you submit documents for all of the work experiences of your past 10 years, they would separate your work experience into FSW (skilled one, the primary experience mentioned) and the rest will actually be counted too, but as CRS? Meaning even unskilled work experience will be considered and get you points too.

I used to think they'll only sum up the skilled work experience years, but it seams like they summed up all together. Am I correct? For ex, one of the experiences I have is skill C and the NOC clearly states it, but seams like it was counted here too. I just wonder if that would always be like that, or that's kind of a mistake from case processing agent who didn't observe the unskilled work experience and classified it as skilled and it will get reverted by officer?
