Of course. Many of us home country can't even grant Asylum and offer work permit, accommodation the way Canada does yet critics will say Canada isn't good.

See, in European countries you can't get such privileges as Asylum.

I'm affected and separated from my family but I will always be grateful % to Canada. Covid exacerbated everything and every applications are different base on our pass Life. They check security differently which could lead to delay.

I waited for 15 Months to get first response after applying.

That’s right. I waited 3 years for the hearing. And I have been waiting for more than 2 years now for PR. I don’t know when I will have PR, but I never complained a word because I know there are a lot of things need to get done before CIC can give us a status or confirmation. Everyone has their own difficult life and most of us are separated from our families. However some people are just so demanding and ungrateful to Canada or any country that takes them.

We're separated for 3 Year's now. My daughter saw me last when she's a 1 year old but now she's 4 years old. It's hurtful but we knew the consequences of Asylum when we moved to Canada.

We remain grateful to God and Canada for saving our Life's and giving us another chance for future and our Unborn Generation.

Please let us try harder to control our feelings, it's not easy for many of us, I feel your pains but criticism on this platform won't change anything but lead to depression.

I totally agree with you. I am sorry to hear that some people case is taking longer. I totally think it depends on where you come from. Certain countries are unfortunately in the list of risk countries. Fortunately I dont come from those countries but we all waited like you do. The claim itself took so long for us. My son turned 4 years old here in Canada and have not seen his dad yet. We feel all of your pain. The separation, sleepless night, going through birth alone being in hospital with one kid sitting next to me and having no family and friend around. I am still grateful. I hope i will pay back to Canada for protection for me and for my family. I also continue to stay positive - I hope one day my husband will come! I really pray that you all get your status and be happy with your families here in Canada.

I do not know if you have kids or not but I would not say as you said "ungrateful" because you do not know my situation. I left my youngest wgen he was a 3-month baby and now he is 6 years old. Is that fair? I understand that there are so many refugees and there is covid and bla bla bla but there is something wrong with the asylum and immigration systems. This should not be happening in a developed country like Canada!

GOOD morning brother
Its your right to express your feelings the way you want to say.
I truly understand that none of us is saying anything bad about Canada as a country. Because we have chosen it to be our future Home.
Our complaints are about the immigration system specially for us here waiting for so long. And many of us here are with out any families relatives or friends. Not even friends.
So brother forget what others are saying.
Inshallah we will soon be through all this hard unjustified wait time.
And always imagine the moment when you will ne at the airport and receiving your little kids Inshallah :)
Be strong Brother

Hello,

We are at the end of the process for your application for permanent residence in Canada. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, IRCC has had to stop in-person services to protect the health and safety of clients and employees. The Department has come up with innovative ways to conduct business. Confirming permanent residence (PR) status without an in-person interview through a new and secure PR Confirmation Portal is one of these new improvements we are happy to offer you.

Through the PR Confirmation Portal:

· You will confirm you currently live in Canada

· You will provide your current address in Canada (we’ll send your permanent resident card in the mail to this address)

· You will submit a recent photo (JPEG or PNG formats are accepted) which we’ll use to print your PR card

· IRCC will upload your document that proves your new PR status you will be able to use this document while you wait for your first PR card that will come to you in the mail

Important notes:

  • Clients will have to access the portal themselves. If you’re a representative, please forward this email to the clients you represented for their PR application until they were approved.

  • IRCC will keep improving on this tool, but for now the portal only allows one profile per person. Regardless of their age, each member of your family (i.e. including your dependants) must have their own profile.
  • You and every dependant included in your application will need their own unique email address (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) for us to create an account in the PR Confirmation Portal.
Let us know:

You must inform us right away via the IRCC webform of any of these changes:

· marriage or common-law union, divorce, annulment, legal separation

· death of

o the sponsor

o the principal applicant or

o any accompanying family member

· birth or adoption of a child, including grandchildren born to dependent children

· you (the principal applicant) or any of your family members have been charged or convicted of a criminal offence

What you need to do next:

Reply(you must click on reply) to this email (IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca) and give us your personal email address and email addresses for every dependant included in your application. Please use this format, one client per line: Names, UCI, email, date of last time entered in Canada and the location(Port of Entry) - verify your passport for the date and location.

If you can’t access online tools such as the portal due to accessibility issues or special needs, contact us by replying(you must click on reply) to this message: IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca.

You and every dependant included in your application need to be physically residing in Canada in order to use the portal. If you or one of your dependant currently live outside Canada, contact us by replying(you must click on reply) to this message: IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca.

Sincerely,

PLEASE HOUSE, what is the meaning of this email. We received call from IRCC this morning that we need to send Phone Picture for PR Card.

We still haven't received DM or Background check report. Kindly advise
