Gcms says eligibility not met

Dear friends, pls I need an advise. My gcms notes arrived yesterday and I discovered that I had made an error in choosing masters instead of 2 or more certificates in the drop down box for eca summary. I got ITA with a cut off of 472 and when I recalculated with the right information my crs is 470. My application is already in process and I have not been rejected yet.
Should I withdraw my application immediately, I’m scared for them not to see it as misrepresentation. Pls advise. Thanks

Sometimes withdrawal is not applicable if it already passed a certain point, they might not accept your request

I got ITA on 18th Nov 2020 with 472.
crs at 477
Re calculating now with the right info, crs is at 470.
Done biometrics in January and passed medicals.
ordered for gcms 22 feb 2021 and got it yesterday where I saw that I wasn’t eligible.

Your application had made it through almost the entire process, and referring to your notes you are already classified as ineligible meaning its risky now, if i were you i would raise a webform to withdraw my application stating that I understand that i might loose my fees, and elaborate that after requesting GcMs notes i realized that i have done an innocent mistake in this drop down menu, and was honestly un intentional and its obvious because if you have waited for next draws you would have no such problem. Is just your bad and trying to fix it before final decision and is unfortunate.

Yes I have typed the explanation but from the procedural link you sent, I understand that I shouldn’t be the one to request withdrawal (I may be wrong) because it will raise suspicion that I’m trying to dodge a decision. I have been skeptical to whether I should withdraw or send a letter of explanation to how it happened. Stating the innocent mistake and apologizing. If you think otherwise pls help let me know. They are very berocratic when it comes to processing, meaning they will dig out a statement from your request and act on it.

For example: you state " i have done an innocent mistake " literally court or officials will raise a case to challenge or investigate if your statement is valid ? If so they will respond positively and drop your application without prejudice if not they do whatever they need to do.

My point is if you raise a webform with only an LOE what would be your request at the end ? To overlook the said mistake? If so then they will dismiss your request as you do not meet the cut off at the time of ITA ( no one can say ok lets consider the applicant for the next applicable draw, it does not work that way i guess) and they will proceed normally with your application ending up rejected probably. Hopefully without misrepresentation suspicion.

You may take the risk but if you can score 470 just redo the thing or seek a PNP.

In one case that is you miss interpreted GSMC notes try to consult a lawyer in your area just to make sure that you were marked ineligible or otherwise . If you know what I mean

pls I don’t understand the sentence above. I would also like to share the content of the letter with you before sending it. At this point, I don’t know if I should state that I want to withdraw application in the body of the letter or also use the withdraw application option in webform. I just want to get it right and not shoot myself on the leg. I already know that they wouldn’t continue application, I fear misrepresentation and I want to be as transparent as possible.
