I have a question for you all do you guys think we recieve dm according to file number?? as one of friend applied after me but he received pr.

My Friend AOR May25- Received PR COPR on March 24,2021

My AOR May 08- Haven’t received PR yet

Example:
My File number: EP00XXXX2615
My Friend file number: EP00XXXX2009

but his file sequence number was before me for example if my file number’s last four digits are 2615 and his was 2009 everything else in file number is same.
so i was wondering whoever saw DM update please if you can check your file number ?

Depends on case to case basis, and also the case officer allocated the file. Some are more effiecient than others.

Don’t say nothing... as an Outland applicant wa can’t contact IRCC via telephone therefore we re in blind some cases ... through webform with temp# we can communicate with IRCC effectively... and also it’s kind a confirmation of file is with them safely coz we post them in COVID environment... for me DHL took 25+ days to delivered n get the confirmation of delivery. Each of application has deferent story bro...

I talked with my representative about AOR and she said AORs are currently taking 7-8 months

Guys don`t stress too much. At least 8 months, mine was 8 months and 10 days... It is an awful situation, was hell for me as well. but this is what we signup for. Also depends on the officer, some are all update and some are very slow

What can you guys do with a temporary file number?

Is peace of mind that they actually received your application. With the Temp Application Number, you can communicate with the officer in case you need to send a webform. But doesn't really help much. What you actually need is the Application nnumber.
