Covid-19 changed a lot but the government should have new processes in place by now...its been 1 year since Covid started. Our file was denied, then we appeal and won in January 2021. looks like we will need to wait another year before PPR is granted.

Nobody is getting this point why they are not working on backlogs and granting aor to new files..what's in their minds nobody knows...I have no idea when I'll see my husband
I wasn't asked. I simply attached screenshots of my spousal sponsorship application confirming biometric given/completed by PA earlier.
I have received the notes. It looks like an agent reviewed my background check and security was started on 1/4/21. They reviewed the criminal check (again). Also had a "March 31st due date" listed, which may not mean anything. No other updates.
Guys, please share this as much as possible on Twitter and Facebook. Reach out to your MPs and ask them for help and push them to reach out to Marco Mendicino (Liberal Eglinton-Lawrence and Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) to address this issue.

I'm fed up writing and tweeting, these people don't care about my tweets and emails. All I get is the same orchestrated email response. I've been apart from my husband for years. Our application has been in the system since July 2018. My MP only comes to my door around election time.
