Hello everyone,

I thought I should put this here, I put 38 hours/week under my work history in my Express entry profile now what appears to be is I have got employer experience letter and it states 37.5 hours per week as I work 75 hrs bi-weekly.

I put 37.5 hours per week in my e-APR work history as stated in my reference letter.
I have also decided to attach LOE explaining why I put 38 earlier in express entry.

Should it be fine? I am concerned. I will submit my e-APR in couple of weeks!!!
Thank you

This is a thread for January 2020 people who have already applied and received AOR.

You're asking in the wrong thread.

I lived in Canada (had a work permit), moved back home, and moved back to Canada on visitors visa a year ago.

I just received a one-year work permit so they made an exception for me! :)
How'd you manage to get the one-year work permit exception? That sounds amazing.

I just received my GCMS notes today (Generated 30th Dec). The one good thing is it went from RFV PENDING FINDEC on 15th June, to the same officer giving me an Approved/Counterfoil/COPR generated on 15th October. This wait to return home (Canada) is killing me and my medicals + counterfoil expire in a week.

Hi All,

I had submitted myPR application on 15th Jan 2020 under CEC inland. I have been hearing the same response from IRCC since last six months that last update on file was wayback in May 2020. Medical has expired but they haven’t asked me for a new one since it is their fault that it is taking so much time. My GCMS notes do not mention the fact that my file is in “Covid Group”. There is absolutely no way to reach out to immigration officer and see why they haven’t touched my file since May’20. Criminal is in progress while security and eligibility haven’t been initiated.
Anyone there with similar situation? Any other way to see what’s happening on the file except webforms or GCMS notes?

Hello,
I am in your boat. Only difference is my AOR is in Apri.
1, Medical expired - Same as yours
2, Criminal is in progress while security and eligibility haven’t been initiated - Same as yours
3, They haven’t touched my file since July 2020

I too don't know what to do.

There are a lot of files like that. I don't know how they manage this process, but I would say that is horrible. My file has passed all the stages and I'm waiting only for the final decision. I'm hearing the same story every other week that I call them. The agents are useless to make your file move and this is not a good thing. Why they are there? Just to pick up the phone and give you the same answer over and over again? This is ridiculous. Also, there is no way to reach the officer. My AOR is April 2020 and I do not have any update on the system since June. They only way to ask where is my file it through the phone.

Have you tried submitting GCMS notes?
Couple of my friends got their CoPR last week even though they applied in Aug’20 which makes it more frustrating

My case is same as you.
AOR April 30 All stages passed since when I called first time on 30 October.
Agent told me file is at Etobicoke and ready to go. But what are they doing with it since last 3 months.
Wait is killing me.

Hi everyone,

I raised webform asking about my Eligibilty status and I got this reply "The responsible office verified the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied."

Can anyone please help me understand this. Does it mean Eligibilty Passed?

AOR 15 Jan 20 - still waiting.

Looking forward to your help.
Thanks
