Hello Everyone!

I am new here. I would just like to ask any recommendations in which Canada Programs can we apply?

Here's our situation:

  • No Job Offer yet (but we are continuously finding employer and applying for any jobs)
  • My partner and I already took IELTS test, our original plan is that my part would be the main profile for the express entry (however, upon checking we are not eligible maybe because of his IELTS score which is CLB 5.5 while mine is CLB 6
  • His Academic Credentials has been assessed by WES, and is recognized as college degree (3 years)
  • I am planning to apply my academic credentials as well, though I am quite hesitant as I only have associate degree (vocational, 2 years)
  • Both NOC B
  • Tagged as common-law
  • From Philippines
Thanks in advance, Godspeed!

Right now you aren’t eligible until your partner improves IELTS scores. What is your CRS if your scores improve? What are your NOCs?

Hi Naturgrl, if he'll be able to ace 7 and I stayed the same score we will going to have 370 in express entry. I am bit curious why even though we are not eligible in the EE, all of our scores are zero and no result.

Also, since we are not eligible to apply for an express entry. Do you know any Canadian Pilot Programs that is applicable in our case?

NOC B, btw. Thanks!

Your partner’s IELTs scores are too low. He needs CLB 7 to be eligible for EE. Without being eligible for EE, you need to look at PNP programs that are paper-based like Saskatchewan. That is the only one, I think you would be eligible for. It has its own points system and you may not have enough points. What is your NOC?

Hi

I am shubham and I volunteer in Moncton cares, we are a not for profit organization who helps new comers settle here in Moncton, New Brunswick

You should go with NBNP where the express entry score required is 75. This might be a good option for you.
What are you talking about. What EE score is 75. That was for a CEC draw, not FSW. CEC is for those with Canadian work experience. Eligibility score is minimum 76 and they are not eligible due to low IELTS scores. Careful spreading misinformation. Also NBNP requires a job offer.

Thank you for confirming! :)

My NOC is B also.

Okay, I'll try the Program for the Saskatchewan if we are eligible for the criteria. I've found some programs that has their own pointing system but we are always lack with either 3-4 points to be eligible because we don't have job offer yet. :(

You want your SINP score to be 68+ to even be considered. NOC is a 4 digit number that tells your skill (e.g. software engineer 2173). What is your 4 digit NOC because that also will determine if you are eligible for PNP programs.

Oh I see, Its 6314 - Customer and information services supervisors. But our NOC can be affiliated with financial institution as well, like 1114.

Your employment letters must match the NOC. NOC 6314 is an ineligible occupation in Saskatchewan. Read through the SINP site and see if you are even eligible.

Upon checking the site, it says that the occupation in-demand are
  • NOC A: jobs that usually require university education
  • NOC B: jobs that usually require college education or apprenticeship training
  • NOC O: management
